How do I downgrade my plan?

You can downgrade to a lower plan in one of two ways.

Cancel the current plan, then choose a new one. Go to Settings in the left sidebar. Under Manage Plan, click Cancel Plan. After that plan ends, open Subscription Plans and select the new plan.

Or select the new plan directly. Under Manage Plan, click Change Plan. That opens Subscription Plans, where you select the new plan. You can also open https://app.gptzero.me/subscription-plans yourself. For an API plan, open https://app.gptzero.me/api-subscription and select the new plan.

When you downgrade, Stripe adds a prorated credit to your balance. That credit is applied to future payments.

You can pause your plan instead of downgrading.
