What features does the GPTZero browser extension have?

The browser extension is called GPTZero: AI Detection & Writing Replay. It works in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. Here is what it can do:

• Scan selected text or a whole page for AI-generated writing.

• Show a confidence rating with the result.

• Highlight the parts of the text that are most likely AI-generated.

• AI Vision tags posts and articles on supported sites while you browse. You need to be logged in.

• Writing Report in Google Docs plays back how a document was written. Open it from Watch Writing Report.

• Fact Check in Google Docs checks claims in the document.

On the free plan, AI scans, AI highlighting, AI Vision, and Writing Reports each have a usage limit. GPTZero Premium removes those limits.

GPTZero has been covered by the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, NPR, BBC, CNN, Vice, The Information, TechCrunch, and Education Week.
